Call to Action: Email the Jefferson Parish School Board in support of Dr. Brumley & PragerU

A Follow-up to my recent article on The Hayride

Hello all,

Earlier this week, I published an article on The Hayride that outlined some recent controversy concerning the Jefferson Parish School Board.

To put it simply, the alumnae chapter of a far-left sorority attended last week’s Jefferson Parish School Board meeting. During the meeting, the chapter president bashed BESE Superintendent Cade Brumley’s excellent decision to make PragerU content to Louisiana classrooms.

For those who don’t know, PragerU is a conservative nonprofit dedicated to creating authentically pro-America media content

Now, the far-left sorority group’s goal is to bully the Jefferson Parish School Board into removing PragerU resources available for Jefferson Parish classrooms. We can’t afford to let them bully our elected officials, and that’s why I doing a “Call to Action” today

But for today, I wanted to ask the Louisiana First Standard audience to take part in my “Call to Action” for the Jefferson Parish School Board.

For this “Call to Action”, I ask that you would email the 7 Republican members of the Jefferson Parish School Board (JPSB) and ask them to support Dr. Brumley’s and keep PragerU content available in Jefferson Parish classrooms.

I listed a sample email template below that you can send to the school board members for this “Call to Action”:

Dear Mr. XXX,

My name is XXX, and I wanted to voice my support for BESE Superintendent Cade Brumley and his wise decision to partner with PragerU.

It has come to my attention that a sorority group bashed Dr. Brumley and PragerU content during the previous JP School Board meeting.

My hope is that you and the rest of the JPSB stands with Dr. Brumley and his bold leadership. Please do not cave to the mob.

Do what's best for Jefferson Parish by keeping PragerU content available to teachers and students.
