Hello all.
I hope everyone had a blessed weekend.
It’s been a busy time of year for myself, but I should finally have some more time to commit to my favorite pastime: writing about Louisiana politics. For today’s post, I wanted to point out some of the disturbing rhetoric coming from one of the most notorious Leftists in Louisiana politics.
If you’ve followed this substack for a while, we here at the Louisiana First Standard spend a lot of time critiquing Establishment Republicans (a.k.a. “RINOs”) from a “Louisiana First” perspective. Going forward, I firmly believe that Establishment Republicans are the biggest threat to Louisiana’s future success and prosperity.
The Far-left ideologues within the Louisiana Democrat party hold little power in the grand scheme of Louisiana politics—especially at the state level. So, that reasoning is why I focus most of my writing on Louisiana Republican politics.
That being said, “Louisiana First” patriots need to remain aware of what Louisiana Leftists are saying and doing. So for today, we’re going to look at a recent Twitter/X post coming New Orleans-area state rep. Mandie Landry:
Mandie Landry mocks the Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday
Mandie Landry is a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. She is also one of the most openly vocal Far-left, pro-abortion members of the Louisiana Legislature. To be clear, Rep Landry calls herself a “Catholic” even though she openly supports the murder of innocent babies in the womb.
On Easter Sunday, Rep Landry blasphemed the holy name of Jesus Christ by invoking His name to slander her political opponent LA Governor Jeff Landry. Rep. Landry has continued to peddle a Far-left smear that Governor Landry cut a summer meals program for poor Louisiana schoolchildren. This claim from the Louisiana Far-Left has been debunked numerous times, but that reality didn’t stop Rep. Landry from sharing this falsehood.
Consequently, I decided to call out Rep Landry on Twitter/X, and what resulted was back-and-forth exchange between myself and Rep Landry. By the end of our exchange, I clearly got under Rep. Landry’s skin.
What I found most disturbing from this exchange was the plethora of disgusting comments coming from Rep Landry’s supporters. Her supporters directed foul language at my original post and slandered me as a “fake Christian”.
There are some sick people in the state of Louisiana, and Rep. Landry’s Easter Sunday post is a reminder that we are facing a spiritual battle in Louisiana.
May God grant us victory in our struggle to make Louisiana a Christ-based state once again.
Anyways, thank you all for reading, and may Christ Jesus bless the state of Louisiana! Only Louisiana First!
