Louisiana First Endorsement: Christy Lynch for CD-2

Our support for "Louisiana First" Congressional candidate Christy Lynch

Hello all,

We have some exciting news here today on the Louisiana First Standard. I am proud to announce my endorsement of candidate Christy Lynch for Louisiana’s 2nd US Congressional district!

For those who don’t know Christy, she is a Christian and a grassroots conservative-patriot in the Greater New Orleans area. Christy Lynch is also the president of the Greater New Orleans Republican Women, a member of the Republican State Central Committee, and an appointee to the Orleans Parish Board of Election Supervisors.

Christy is a personal friend of the Louisiana First Standard, and we are excited to see her run for office!

Back in March, Christy successfully won her race for the Republican State Central Committee (RSCC). We here are the Louisiana First Standard endorsed Christy for her RSCC election and are now glad to endorse her for Congress.

Earlier this week, Christy received an official endorsement from the Louisiana state GOP. Here is the press release:

BATON ROUGE, LA— The Republican Party of Louisiana (LAGOP) has endorsed Christy Lynch for Congressional District 2.  Christy is the founder of the Greater New Orleans Republican Women.  A dedicated conservative, Lynch serves as a member of the Republican State Central Committee and the Orleans Parish Republican Executive Committee, as well as being a Board of Elections Supervisor for Orleans Parish.  Christy is an accounting college professor with experience as an auditor, a CPA (inactive), Certified Fraud Examiner (inactive), and an accounting executive.

The LAGOP urges the voters of CD2 to support Christy Lynch.  Early voting begins October 18.  Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.

Besides the LAGOP endorsement, Christy has also received endorsements from notable Republicans— such as Louisiana state Treasurer John Fleming and state representative Mike Bayham.

Candidate Christy Lynch is facing four other candidates in this election for Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional district. Christy’s toughest opponent is certainly the Democratic, “Louisiana Last” incumbent Congressman Troy Carter.

According to 538, Congressman Carter votes 100% of the time with Joe Biden and is one of the most liberal Congressman in America.
